December 10-12, 2018.
I research extrasolar planets – planets around other stars – and in particular, I’m interested in developing new and better methods for detecting and characterizing them. Currently, I’m working on a survey of naked-eye stars in Kepler to search for transiting planets. I recently completed my doctorate at Oxford; I’m now a NASA Sagan Fellow at the NYU Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics.Slides for my talks are available here.
